Profile: Aime is an analytical engineer and scientist with a BEng (hons) in civil engineering and a PhD in geotechnical engineering and soil mechanics. She has recently joined Braemar having previously worked for a major civil engineering firm involved in ground investigations for offshore, marine and onshore construction projects. Aime has extensive consulting experience, including provision of expert witness reports and advice and has previous experience in the mining industry, including field work worldwide. Aime is experienced in laboratory analysis, including set-up, quality control and training of laboratory staff. As an expert in the behaviour of soils and similar materials (such as minerals and ores) Aime provides scientific analytical expertise on damage to relevant cargoes. She is involved in mineral cargo liquefaction matters, including onsite sampling and overseeing testing to ensure compliance with the IMSBC code. Using her civil engineering expertise, she also provides advice relating to fixed and floating object damages and has diving qualifications.
