Knowledge transfer has always been a key part of our client engagement process providing sustainable improvement beyond our specific projects. We actively help clients develop their knowledge and skills so they can make well-informed business decisions.

On the 2nd Thursday of each month Braemar (Incorporating The Salvage Association) present a market briefing in Lloyd’s Old Library, providing a overview of the current cases of interest and technical issues of concern to underwriters.

John Aston will be presenting the recent major cases of interest that BRAEMAR/SA have been dealing with over the last month.

The following dates in 2012 have been reserved from 0900-1100 hrs in the Old Library for the Salvage Association Market Briefing.

Thursday 8th March - Project Cargoes presented by Brian Cushing, one of our Master Mariners based in
London, will be discussing the range and types of project cargoes that are typically encountered being transported to project sites.  He will explain the risks and problems that
they can present during the various modes of transport.

Brian has worked for Braemar since 2007, having previously been involved in Marine Surveying from 1982 following a career at sea.  He brings considerable experience of Marine Warranty surveys of heavy lift and oversize cargo loadouts, particularly latterly with Braemar Offshore (formally Braemar Falconer).
